NGO Development Project

NGO Development Project

India has some of the most diverse regional artisans that pass their culture through the generations. Volunteers would be working towards bringing sustainable development in the village and tribal communities of Southern or Northeastern India. The project aims to create awareness about the plight of underprivileged communities by providing market linkage. The NGO focuses on harnessing the skills and traditions of the rural people to increase their income in the low-monetization economy that is prevalent where they live. The NGO helps sustain these communities by ensuring the livelihood of local artisans by promoting their products and ensuring they get fair trade, fair wages, and preserving their century old traditions and artistic talents.
