Therapy and Counseling Internship

Therapy and Counseling Internship

A Therapy and Counseling Internship in India is for interns who would like to learn about mental health solutions and support in India. This is a great opportunity for international interns to learn about the way that India deals with autism, cerebral palsy, and various neuromuscular disorders. Interns will generally get involved in different aspects according to their own skills and interests. Most of what interns would be working on are early intervention programs for young children in the forms of creating IEPs, occupational therapy and alternative therapy, as well as provide counseling and treatments to children as well as their parents and siblings. The approach is one to maximize independence for the children while also creating awareness for mental health progress on every level in India.
